This Privacy Policy explains how Meija Media LLC ("Meija Media", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Waxu and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We do not knowingly allow anyone under 16 to use the Service. If you are under 16, please do not use Waxu.

  • Store and listing data: inventory details, descriptions, images, pricing, shipping options.
  • Transaction data: items purchased or sold, order history, payment status, payout status, fees, and adjustments.
  • Payment and payout data: handled primarily by our payment and payout providers, including PayPal for buyer payments and Trolley for eligible seller onboarding and payouts. Stripe may process legacy, backup, or other specifically enabled transactions. We receive limited details such as recipient and transaction identifiers, verification, tax or compliance status, payout method type, payment status, and payout status; we do not store full payment card or bank-account numbers.
  • Communications: messages with us or between buyers and sellers through the Service.
  • Order cases, returns, and refunds: request reasons, affected items, buyer and seller responses, photos or other evidence, return carrier and tracking, deadlines, refund amounts and status, payment-provider identifiers, administrator decisions, internal audit notes, and related communications. Internal notes are restricted to authorized personnel except where disclosure is required by law.
  • Support and feedback: information you submit in forms, surveys, or support requests.
  • Usage and device data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages visited, referring URLs, approximate location, and interaction data collected via cookies or similar technologies.
  • Third-party data: information from partners such as payment processors, analytics providers, fraud prevention services, or identity verification providers.

  • Process transactions, payouts, and fee calculations.
  • Facilitate messaging between buyers and sellers.
  • Review cancellation, return, refund, shipping, fraud, and payment-dispute cases; decide or enforce resolutions; reconcile duties, taxes, shipping, seller transfers, platform fees, and balances; and notify affected users.
  • Enforce our Terms, Seller Terms, and policies, and protect the platform and users.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Communicate with you about your account, orders, policy updates, and marketing (where permitted).
  • Personalize content, recommendations, and search results.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information as follows:

  • With buyers and sellers: limited order and case information necessary to complete a transaction or resolve a request, which may include the request, buyer-visible reasons, relevant evidence, return tracking, decision, and refund status. We do not ordinarily share internal administrator notes.
  • With service providers: companies that help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, customer support, payment processing, identity verification, fraud prevention).
  • With payment and payout providers: including PayPal, Trolley, and Stripe where specifically enabled, to process buyer payments, seller onboarding and verification, tax documentation, payouts, refunds, negative balances, disputes, chargebacks, compliance screening, and fraud prevention.
  • With duties, tax, customs, carrier, and fulfillment providers: including Zonos where used, to calculate or reconcile import amounts, cancel or adjust international orders, process shipment or return events, and support a refund decision.
  • With professional advisers: lawyers, accountants, insurers, auditors, and other advisers where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, defend, or comply with legal and financial obligations.
  • For legal and safety purposes: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights, property, safety, or prevent fraud/abuse.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality.
  • With your consent: when you direct us to share or otherwise consent.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may allow certain partners to use cookies/analytics to collect information about your use of the Service for analytics or to measure performance, as described in our Cookie & Tracking Notice.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure; please use strong passwords and keep your account credentials confidential.

  • Account data: You can update certain account or store details in your profile.
  • Marketing: You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link. We may still send transactional or service messages.
  • Cookies: Manage cookies through your browser or device settings.
  • Data subject rights: Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your information, or object to/limit processing. We will honor applicable rights subject to legal requirements.
